Description Pages sixteen and seventeen of the Revised Edition of 'An Account of the Wicksteed Park & Trust Booklet', page sixteen refers to the statue of Jerry - Charles Wicksteed's dog, "Do Not Touch" and "Keep Off" notices in the park as "flowers are treated with respect", the developments of the park between 1922-1928: putting-greens, 27 hard tennis courts, and running and cycle track, the opening of an 18-hole golf course in 1932, and how the Wicksteed Park Railway was Charles' "last enterprise" before his death. Page seventeen shows a black and white image of the Fountain Lawn and Bandstand.
