The amelioration of the conditions of the working-classes anywhere in the United Kingdom, and the creation of open spaces and facilities for recreation. 2. The prevention of cruelty and unnecessary pain to animals.", details of how income from refreshments and special amusements are used for the development and upkeep of the park, and a description of the Wicksteed Trust estate including 300 acres of land (100 of which is covered by the Park itself) and other general features of the land. Page five includes a black and white image of the Sunk Garden.
