Pages eighteen and nineteen of the Revised Edition of 'An Account of the Wicksteed Park & Trust Booklet', page eighteen describes the development of the Wicksteed Park Railway with King Arthur and Lady of the Lake engines being used at the time and in 1933 saw the addition of a tunnel to the railway. This page also details the need for mown grass areas for picnics and the demand for a Toy Shop first opened in 1933 before doubling in size in 1935 and the erection of a new building in 1938 with over 70,000 toys sold in one season alone.
